Job Title: Grounds Officer
John Paul College is seeking two experienced Grounds Officers to join our Property Services team at our beautiful campus. The role involves maintaining the campus grounds, assisting with college events and working closely with the Grounds Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance of gardens and lawns, including weeding, fertilizing and pruning.
* Keeping the campus clean and tidy, including opening and locking gates around campus.
* Project and event support, including setting up and packing down for school events.
* Assisting with landscaping projects and helping students, staff, visitors and contractors when needed.
* Equipment and safety management, including using and looking after grounds equipment safely, following safety procedures and reporting any equipment problems.
Requirements:
Applicants must have a Blue Card or Working with Children Check, a full driver's license and good communication skills. Experience in gardening, landscaping or grounds work is desirable, as are basic repair and maintenance skills and a First Aid certificate.
