We are recruiting a Senior Auditor for our client, who is a top 20 accounting firm and part of a large international network.
This role provides exposure to a strong portfolio of mining and ASX listed audits and suits an experienced auditor ready to take ownership of engagements from start to finish.
The roleLead and deliver external audits from planning through to completionAssist with audit planning, risk assessments and materiality calculationsWork on mining and listed entity clientsManage audit timelines and budgets for assigned engagementsReview work prepared by junior auditors and provide coaching and on the job trainingIdentify audit issues and propose practical solutionsEnsure compliance with auditing standards and internal quality control requirementsCoordinate with client finance teams to obtain information and resolve queriesPrepare and review audit files, financial statements and audit reportsReport audit progress, issues and outcomes to managers and partners
About you4+ years external audit experience within a professional services firmStrong CaseWare experienceAdvanced Excel skillsDemonstrated ability to manage audits end to endExperience reviewing junior staff workComfortable working directly with managers and partnersCA or CPA qualified or working towardsMust be fluent in English
