About the Role
As the Operations Manager, you’ll work autonomously onsite to ensure the centre runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll also support a remote property management team, assisting with centre activations, tenant relations, and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, independence, and making a visible impact in a local retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage contractor relationships and ensure service delivery meets performance targets.
- Oversee compliance across OHS&E;, risk management, building regulations, and essential services.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and reporting deadlines.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Identify opportunities for capital improvements and manage project delivery.
- Assist with centre activations and promotional activities
- Support tenant engagement and relationship requirements
- Handle day-to-day administration and reporting requirements
- Develop long-term operational strategies for the centre.
- Support a collaborative and safe environment for tenants and visitors.
About You
- Proven experience in facilities or operations management within retail, property, or a related industry.
- Strong financial and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Comfortable with hands-on tasks when required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data interpretation.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams
