Financial Analyst Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at the New Acland Coal Mine. As a key member of our accounting and finance group, you will play a pivotal role in delivering meaningful financial insights to promote the success of our site.
The successful candidate will have experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost control and financial analysis, and will be able to apply data analytical techniques to drive business decisions. They will also possess strong communication skills to effectively communicate across all levels of the site.
This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday roster, with opportunities for career development through structured programs and diversified on-the-job work experiences.

About the Role
The Management Accountant will be responsible for:
* Taking a lead role in the processing and execution of accounting and finance activities
* Assisting with the preparation of periodic management accounts, reports and analysis
* Supporting the forecasting and budgeting process
* Assisting with internal audits and compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business
* CPA/CA/CIMA or similar accreditation
* Experience with mining/resource accounting, budgeting and forecasting
