Role Summary
You will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of our Market Made range pizzas and pizza bases within our Vasse store. Working as part of a busy food environment, you will play an important role in producing fresh, high-quality products and supporting a positive guest experience.
Your duties
* Assisting in the production of our Market Made range of pizzas and pizza bases.
* Preparing pizzas for customer orders and for our instore Café.
* Preparing and managing pizza dough to ensure consistency in quality and texture.
* Hand-stretching, topping, and baking pizzas to established recipes and presentation standards.
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked pizza station throughout service.
* Monitoring food quality to ensure products are presented to a high standard.
* Working efficiently during busy periods without compromising consistency and quality.
* Supporting a smooth service flow by working closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members.
* Complying with all food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures.
What You Will Bring
* Full, unrestricted working rights within Australia are essential, as there are no sponsorship opportunities available for this role.
* Proven experience working as a Pizza Chef in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in a pizza production role is highly desirable.
* Sound knowledge of dough preparation, handling, and baking techniques.
* The ability to work quickly, calmly, and consistently under pressure.
* Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
* A reliable approach to daily preparation, cleaning, and station organisation.
* A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and peak trading periods.
