Commencing January 2026 (or as negotiated with the successful candidate)
We are seeking a passionate and suitably qualified Education Support Teacher to join our dedicated team in 2026. This role focuses on providing targeted academic support and intervention for Secondary School students who have additional learning needs. The successful candidate should also have the ability to provide literacy and/or numeracy interventions across the Upper Primary years.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
* Deliver differentiated interventions and modify learning tasks to meet individual student needs.
* Support students in developing core literacy and numeracy skills.
* Partner with key stakeholders to develop and evaluate student plans across Secondary School, while promoting inclusive and respectful learning environments.
* Contribute to the teaching, learning, assessment and reporting cycle.
* Engage with the NCCD process (experience advantageous but not essential).
* Relevant teaching qualifications and registration with the TRBWA.
* Current Working with Children Check.
* Sound knowledge of the SCSA WA Curriculum.
* Understanding of disability and inclusive practices that affirm and support the strengths and needs of all learners.
* Demonstrate experience implementing evidence-informed approaches that promote student engagement and success.
* Capacity to deliver targeted support through responsive and flexible tiered interventions.
* Familiarity with tools and strategies for identifying and tracking student learning progress.
* Applicants must be supportive of the objectives and ethos of an Anglican education.
