About the role
The Planning and Dispatch Administrator assists with the planning of ongoing demand requirements from clients in line with the organisations' production capabilities as well as assisting with the coordination of all truck loading, deliveries and associated administration with Dispatch and Planning.
Responsibilities
* Ensure production are aware of the priority of outgoing orders
* Schedule, manifest & invoice orders
* Liaising with truck drivers & monitoring adhereance to safe loading procedures
* Understand truck & machine capabilities
* Assist with stock take
* Monitor outgoing tonnes
* Ensure loads are full and dispatched on time
* Assisting to rectify site issues and complaints
* Update delivery program on a weekly basis and send to customers regularly to monitor any changes prior to delivery
* Plan production tonnages ahead of time to meet production capacity and customer’s requirement
* Reconciliation of transport accounts when required
* Assist with Counter sales
* Maintain site programs with regular contact with clients and schedulers
* Email confirmations for remote jobs
* Address customer complaints and elevate as required to management
* Maintain accurate records and paperwork for invoicing and record keeping
* Coordinate the delivery of mill certificates and inspection test plans as per customer requests
Who we are looking for
* At least a basic level of Microsoft office suite
* Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing planning role
* Desirable – 1 years experience with Chrome
* Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
* Demonstrated planning and time management skills
* Reliable and trustworthy
* Work well in a team environment
