Technical Sales Specialist
on our New Building Solutions team in Mascot, NSW. KONE is a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, known for innovation, training, safety, and quality. As part of the New Building Solutions team, you will enable the success of our regional sales teams by providing expert technical and commercial solutions aligned with customer needs.
What you will be doing
Support the New Building Solutions Sales Team to translate customer requirements into clear, optimised solutions that deliver value at every stage of the sales process
Provide content for pre-tender, covering technical solutions, technical drawings, cost estimates, lead times, risk assessments, and contractual verification
Attend customer meetings and address technical queries when required
Support order finalisation and project booking, liaising with engineering on drawings issues and approval
Verify that all proposed solutions comply with local codes, regulations and safety standards, ensuring alignment with customer specifications
Are you the one?
Engineering or Technical Sales background
Experience working in the elevator industry preferred but not necessary
Ability to read layouts, specifications and drawings
Highly motivated with the ability to work as part of a team
Analytical minded with the ability to think outside the box
