Responsibilities: Give advice on indirect taxes like GST, stamp duty, land tax, fuel tax credits, customs duties, and other state taxes, Help clients with ATO reviews and audits, Support projects involving tax systems, data analysis, and tax technology, Look into tax laws, cases, and official guidelines, Be a main contact for clients and help maintain strong relationships, Help track billing, stay within budgets, and meet deadlines, Check for risks in projects and make sure work is high quality, Assist with internal training on indirect tax topics, Guide and support junior team members. Key Skills: A degree in Business, Commerce (majoring in Accounting), or Law, Previous experience in tax, ideally with a focus on indirect or state taxes, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with great attention to detail, Able to work independently as well as part of a team, Strong work ethic and commitment to producing high-quality results, Working towards or already completed CA, CTA, or similar professional qualifications.
