We are seeking a senior SAP FI Functional Lead to manage and lead an FI and Reporting Support function within a large, complex SAP ERP environment that includes HR and Payroll integration.
This role combines people leadership, hands‐on SAP FI functional expertise, and strong public sector financial governance knowledge. You will provide technical leadership across SAP FI and SAP Reporting, oversee functional support and configuration activities, and ensure finance and reporting solutions align with legislative and policy requirements.
Key responsibilities
* Lead and manage the FI and Reporting Support team, including workforce planning, performance management, and workload prioritisation
* Provide technical and functional leadership across SAP FI and SAP BI
* Undertake and oversee SAP FI configuration changes, including master data, travel, procurement, treasury, and finance functions
* Coordinate team responses to work packages and service requests in conjunction with the SAP FI Technical Lead
* Champion and support change management initiatives across SAP finance and reporting services
* Provide expert advice on public sector financial controls, legislative obligations, and delegated authorities
* Produce cost and effort estimates for SAP FI‐related initiatives and enhancements
* Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement across SAP platforms
About you
You are a senior SAP FI professional with:
* Proven experience delivering SAP FI functional configuration and leadership
* Strong understanding of public sector financial legislation, delegations, and governance
* Experience across travel, procurement, treasury, and finance business processes
* Demonstrated capability leading teams in complex ERP environments
* Well‐developed stakeholder engagement, influencing, and conflict‐resolution skills
