Mental Health and Disability Support Worker
We are currently seeking dedicated and empathetic professionals to join our team. As a Mental Health and Disability Support Worker, you will provide practical, emotional, and social support to individuals living with various disabilities and mental health conditions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing day-to-day support including personal care, domestic assistance, and community engagement
* Fostering independence and promoting skill development
* Supporting individuals with complex mental health needs
* Maintaining accurate documentation and reports
* FOLLOWING individualized support plans and upholding client dignity and rights
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Working with Children Check (valid for employment)
* First Aid and CPR certification (current)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Compassionate, reliable, and professional attitude
* Experience working with a diverse range of disabilities and mental health conditions
* Flexibility to work across various shifts including mornings, afternoons, and overnights
* Certificates in individual support
