We're backed by the best VCs in Australia and around the globe including EVP, Shearwater Capital, Saniel Ventures and The LegalTech Fund as well as angels from the best law firms in the country.Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Infrastructure Setup and Maintenance: Design and maintain a robust, scalable cloud infrastructure on Heroku, Digital Ocean, and Azure to support various stages of application development, from staging to production. This involves creating and configuring cloud resources such as servers, databases, and storage solutions to ensure they meet the application's requirements and performance goals.Automation of Deployment Processes: Develop automated deployment processes to enable fast and reliable application updates and releases. Utilise the built-in automation tools and features provided by Heroku, Digital Ocean, and Azure, such as Heroku's Git-based deployment, Digital Ocean's Droplets for easy scalability, and Azure DevOps services for automating pipelines.Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring solutions using the native tools provided by Heroku, Digital Ocean, and Azure to track application performance, resource usage, and system health. Regularly analyse these metrics to identify and troubleshoot issues, optimize resource allocation, and ensure the application runs smoothly and efficiently.Security Management: Ensure the security of the cloud infrastructure and applications by leveraging the security features offered by Heroku, Digital Ocean, and Azure. This includes managing network access controls, implementing secure authentication mechanisms, regularly updating systems to protect against vulnerabilities, and ensuring data encryption both at rest and in transit.Cost Optimisation: Monitor and manage cloud expenditures across Heroku, Digital Ocean, and Azure to ensure cost-effectiveness. This involves selecting appropriate service plans, scaling resources according to demand, and eliminating underused or unnecessary resources. Utilise each platform's cost management tools and best practices to keep expenses under control while still meeting the application's performance and scalability requirements.Our Technology StackFront End: React & TypeScriptBackend: Ruby on Rails & GraphQlWe use some of the best infrastructure tools to support our development.What You'll BringDeep Expertise: Deploying and managing enterprise cloud infrastructure, security, and developer experience.Problem Solver: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to translate business requirements into efficient code.Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, from design to deployment.Tenancious Troubleshooter: A proven troubleshooting methodology.
