This is a permanent full-time position based in Darlinghurst/Glebe. Your responsibilities: Manage trade counter sales, providing exceptional customer service and preparing accurate quotes in response to sales enquiries. Respond to client requests and enquiries across multiple channels—face to face, phone, and email—with professionalism and urgency. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support pricing, stock availability, and customer fulfilment. Oversee order processing, coordinate stock purchasing, and support customer consignment requirements. Contribute to broader branch operations and assist with priority tasks and business needs as required. What you’ll need to succeed: Customer Service Expertise: Proven experience in trade or wholesale environments; strong retail sales backgrounds also considered. Sales Mindset: Ambitious and commercially focused, with a genuine passion for growing within a leading electrical wholesaler. Industry Advantage: Experience in electrical wholesale or related sectors (construction, industrial supply, solar, plumbing, security) is highly valued. Quick Learner: Able to rapidly absorb product knowledge and translate it into practical sales solutions. Strong Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across a wide range of trade customers and team members. Working Rights: Must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand (sponsorship not available for this role).
