As a Radiology Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and gain valuable experience in radiological examinations, patient care, and teamwork.
The successful applicant will be appointed as a RANZCR accredited Radiology Trainee in a NSW Health Radiology Training Network and will be working and training primarily at Nepean Hospital, with rotations to other LAN sites.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality radiology services while learning all stages of radiological examinations, including referrals, triaging, supervision, performance, reporting, and communication of procedures.
* Provide general Radiology consultation for patients referred to the department for radiological procedures.
* Participate in reporting of all diagnostic and intervention procedures undertaken in a timely manner under the supervision of the consultant Radiologist of the day.
* Perform radiological procedures and interventions, the range and complexity of which to be commensurate with experience and stage of training, guided by RANZCR curriculum requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent written, verbal, and multimedia communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently within a complex healthcare setting.
They will also demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development, quality improvement principles, and audit implementation.

Requirements
• MBBS or equivalent degree
• Current general registration with the Medical Board of Australia
• Completion of at least two full years in an approved hospital as a Junior Doctor
• Valid Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and Aged Care Check (for Australian Government funded positions)
• Vaccination records compliant with NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy
