The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Director, you will sit at the centre of commercial and operational performance.
You will:
* Work with our amazing, experienced Estimating Team
* Oversee complex, high-value print and signage projects
* Control pricing strategy and margin performance
* Align quoting with production capability and delivery deadlines
* Liaise with installers, suppliers and contractors
* Strengthen existing client relationships
* Leverage your professional network to generate new business opportunities
* Identify growth areas within retail, corporate and agency sectors
Using your experience and relationships will directly influence revenue growth.
Who This Role Is Designed For
You likely come from a high-output digital printing, large-format printing or signage production environment and are ready for greater influence and autonomy.
You bring:
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in large format & digital print estimation
* Specialising in and a deep understanding of Retail printing
* A strong network of agencies, retail groups, builders, developers or corporate procurement contacts
* Proven ability to win and manage high-value print projects
* Deep understanding of substrates, finishing, installation logistics and production workflow
* Commercial awareness around cost control and margin optimisation
* Experience with MIS systems (Print IQ highly regarded)
* Strong negotiation and client relationship skills
* Confidence in leading teams and making strategic decisions
You understand both production capability and commercial opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Quick turnaround and high volume of Quotes
* Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates
* Deliver 1–4 hour turnaround on standard quotes
* Complete complex signage projects within 24 hours
* Oversee estimating workflow and review team output
* Follow up on artwork, approvals and outstanding quotes
* Liaise with suppliers and installers to secure the best pricing
* Align production deadlines with customer expectations
* Monitor stock levels and communicate with production
* Proactively follow up on quotes and convert opportunities
* Provide regular commercial performance reporting to the Director
