Security Systems Engineer — Contract Length: 12 months
Location of work: Melbourne
Araza is seeking an experienced Security Systems Engineer on a 12‐month contract to support the implementation and uplift of cyber security and secure infrastructure solutions across a large enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
* Implement and secure Azure infrastructure (firewalls, routing, peering, private endpoints, WAF)
* Configure and support Azure AD / Entra ID, PIM, RBAC and Conditional Access
* Support hybrid cloud environments and on‐prem integration
* Contribute to secure enterprise networking (Azure, Cisco, Fortinet/Zscaler)
* Support Privileged Access Management platforms (CyberArk or BeyondTrust)
* Develop PowerShell automation for security and infrastructure tasks
* Support security monitoring, logging and compliance uplift
* Produce technical documentation and as‐built designs
About You
* Strong background in security, infrastructure or network engineering
* Experience in large enterprise environments
* Hands‐on experience with:
* Azure infrastructure and security
* Azure AD / Entra ID, Conditional Access, RBAC, PIM
* Enterprise networking technologies
* PAM solutions
* PowerShell scripting
* VMware and/or Hyper‐V
* Security monitoring and logging platforms
Degree in IT, Computer Science or Cyber Security (or equivalent experience). Relevant Azure, networking or security certifications preferred.
