About the opportunity
The total remuneration package (including salary, superannuation, TESL, and allowances) ranges from $365,000 to $400,000.
This position qualifies for a Recruitment Incentive Package up to $5,000 under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme, available if appointed as a Staff Specialist. Our goal is to provide excellent local obstetrics and gynaecology services, fostering career development.

As a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Bathurst Health Service, you will dedicate yourself to providing effective inpatient and outpatient services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
This role offers broad experience across all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with a commitment to professional development, supervision, and training.
Bathurst's maternity service handles over 500 births annually and collaborates with various health services to support community needs. The hospital is a level 4 regional maternity service with a level 3 special care nursery.

1. Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist or via the overseas-trained pathway.
2. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership.
3. Effective communication skills, including IT proficiency.

5. Availability for on-call duties and on-site response.
6. Fellowship of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.
