Assistant Store Manager Opportunity

The Assistant Store Manager role is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a unique blend of business acumen, creative vision, and leadership skills. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales results, providing exceptional customer service, and overseeing daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Customer Experience: Ensure a seamless and personalized shopping experience for customers, exceeding their expectations and fostering loyalty.
* Store Presentation and Sales Floor Supervision: Maintain the visual appeal of the store, ensuring products are merchandised effectively and the sales floor is well-organized and tidy.
* Store & Stockroom Operations: Oversee the efficient management of stock levels, inventory control, and shipping/receiving procedures to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
* Staffing, Scheduling, and Payroll Management: Recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams, manage scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations to drive productivity and employee engagement.
* Training and Development: Design and deliver engaging training programs to equip team members with essential skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
* Communication: Foster open and effective communication among team members, promoting a culture of transparency, respect, and inclusivity.
* Asset Protection: Implement strategies to prevent theft, loss, and damage to company assets, ensuring a secure and trustworthy work environment.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent: A degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
* Supervisory experience: A minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role is required.
* Problem-solving skills: Strong problem-solving skills, including analytical and decision-making abilities.

* Adaptability & Flexibility: Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, demands, and situations.
