About The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist in Training to join our supportive and dynamic team at Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Manning. Based at the Taree site, you will work regularly with a multidisciplinary team in Taree and Maitland. You may be required to travel during work hours to other parts of Manning to provide service. We work in a multidisciplinary team that supports recovery goals within complex presentations. Our model of care within HNELHD CAMHS supports dual clinician work to achieve effective family therapy interventions and support the continuous growth of clinicians. Clinical decisions, risk reviews and service improvement are achieved together; psychology staff are a core member of the team. You will be supported by senior clinicians across Manning and Hunter Valley CAMHS; C&A Psychiatry and have access to daily multidisciplinary team review with psychologists, social workers, nurses, occupational therapists, and dietitians. You'll benefit from regular clinical supervision and access to continuous training and educational programs, including additional group supervision for psychology staff and family therapy cases.

CAMHS is a specialist mental health service that assesses and treats young people 0 – 17 years of age and their families/carers within the HNE Local Health District. Our core work involves specialist assessment, therapeutic intervention, case management, or service navigation to progress clients and families in recovery and long-term wellbeing. About You
We are looking for psychologists with demonstrated skills in assessment, intervention, and evaluation of clinical outcomes with children and adolescents and their families. Experience in co-clinician work or family therapy is not required, and training is provided.
Requirements
* Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate clinical psychology qualification of at least two years full time duration or recognised equivalent, displayed on the AHPRA website.
* Provisional Psychologists enrolled in an APAC-accredited Master of Clinical Psychology Course are eligible to apply (Clinical Psychologists in Training). If applying as a Clinical Psychologist in Training, nominate your placement coordinator as a referee.
* If no clinical psychologists/clinical psychologists in training are eligible, psychologists with general registration will be considered.
