ABOUT GEMCO
Located on the tropical Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory, GEMCO is an open-cut mine that is accountable for over 15% of the world's manganese ore production. Groote Eylandt is home to the Anindilyakwa people, who are the traditional owners of the land and have been working alongside GEMCO since 1963.
The onsite accommodation includes meal services and access to excellent facilities, including a gym, beachside workout area, swimming pool, golf course, tennis and squash courts, a sports oval and a range of scenic walking tracks.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a permanent position on a 7:7 day/night roster, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns.
As the Warehouse Officer, you will safely and accurately execute warehouse-related tasks including loading and unloading trucks, receipting purchase orders, managing inventory, returns management of repairable stocks, vendor non-compliances, and regular stock counting.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
* Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all events and hazards.
* Maintain inventory and facility security to prevent financial loss or business impact.
* Actively participate in training, meetings and team discussions.
* Build positive relationships through clear communication and feedback.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
* Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management
* Strong customer service skills and integrity in inventory security
* Experience in Mining or Heavy Industry warehousing
* Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and manage priorities safely
* SAP experience (highly desirable)
* Understanding of dangerous goods handling
Qualifications for this position are:
* High Risk Licence (LF & LO)
* Working at Heights certification
* Manual driver's licence and MR/HR licence
