We're looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to help bring Baillie Hill to life online through content creation, social media management, and digital campaigns.

The Role
This is a junior digital marketing role suited to someone in their final years of university, a recent graduate, or a freelancer looking to add a few consistent days to their week.
You'll work closely with the Marketing Lead to support digital marketing activity across several venues within the Baillie Hill precinct. With each venue bringing its own personality, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and a creative working environment.
Your focus will be helping ensure Baillie Hill's digital presence remains fresh, engaging, and unmistakably on brand across social media, the website, and other digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Social media (70%)
o Support content creation and social media management across Baillie Hill's channels, including:
o Planning and creating social media content aligned with Baillie Hill's social media strategy
o Capturing and editing lo-fi, social-first videos and images for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
o Assisting with maintaining social media content calendars
o Uploading and scheduling posts via platform tools including Meta Business Suite and Later
o Monitoring and moderating Baillie Hill's social media communities
o Supporting social media reporting and performance analysis
o Ensuring all content follows brand guidelines and internal approval processes
* General marketing (30%)
o Assist with broader digital marketing coordination across the precinct, including:
o Uploading and publishing content to the website CMS
o Supporting the preparation and creation of EDMs (email marketing campaigns)
o Preparing and distributing marketing assets so approved materials are ready for use across social media, EDM, website, and in-venue signage
o As this role supports a hospitality precinct, occasional evening or weekend work may be required to capture content or support marketing activity during peak trading periods.
Your Skills & Experience
We're looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and excited about digital marketing.
* Ideal candidates will have:
* Understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
* Understanding of social media algorithms and engagement metrics
* Copywriting and editing skills
* Experience with online community management
* A passion for content creation and digital marketing
* Experience capturing and editing lo-fi social video and photography
* Familiarity with video editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools)
* Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g. Later, Meta Business Suite)
