About the Role
As a Cook / Cold Larder, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals and supporting positive dining experiences for residents.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparation and presentation of high-quality meals and cold larder items
* Supporting resident dining experience and service standards
* Assisting with kitchen operations to ensure smooth daily service
* Maintaining compliance with food safety, WHS and quality standards
* Assisting with stock control and food preparation
* Working collaboratively with the kitchen team and site management
What You Will Bring
* Cookery qualifications (or relevant kitchen experience)
* Experience in aged care or a strong understanding of modified textures and special dietary requirements (highly regarded)
* Knowledge of food safety legislation and safe food handling practices
* A proactive and team-focused approach
* Strong personal presentation and grooming standards
* Reliability and the ability to work independently on weekends
