Assistant Relationship Manager – Sydney Branch
We are seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager for our Sydney Branch. The Assistant Relationship Manager is primarily responsible for client coverage, associating with Relationship Manager in developing and maintaining positive relationships with major lead arrangers of syndication loan cases and high net-worth clients.
Responsibilities
Provide assistance to the RM by developing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support Deposit, Loan, Hedging, Syndication and other Corporate Banking services.
Accurate and efficient record-keeping of client meetings; engage with clients to obtain relevant updates and resolve queries as applicable.
Conduct detailed credit and financial analysis of potential syndication, commercial real-estate, renewable energy and other structured / project financing cases.
Regularly review and monitor loan portfolio to ensure strong credit quality and contribute to achieving the Annual Target for the Loan Department.
Produce high-quality loan reports and credit presentations for the Credit Review Committee to answer case-related queries and seek timely approval.
Liaise effectively with internal departments and external professionals to resolve credit-related queries, and coordinate with Customer Service to ensure timely completion of account-opening formalities.
Assist the team's growth target for Deposit and Loan volume, accounts, and revenue.
Support branch administrative affairs as required.
Perform additional duties, projects or assignments as determined by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher.
At least 2 years of experience as an ARM or in a similar banking role.
Strong financial analysis skills and knowledge of syndication loans and corporate lending.
Self-starter, outgoing, with a positive work ethic and a strong team-player attitude.
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Mandarin and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
