Sessional Kindergarten Teacher (ECT)

About the role

Are you a passionate Early Childhood Teacher who values connection, creativity, and meaningful learning experiences? Hollins Children's Centre is seeking a warm, dedicated Sessional Kindergarten Teacher (ECT) to join our team and lead high-quality, play-based kindergarten programs that inspire children to learn, grow, and thrive.

We are currently looking for a Part-time teacher to work 21.5 hours across 3 days –Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in our 3-year old program. This role is ideal for an educator who is committed to creating inclusive, nurturing environments and who enjoys working collaboratively with families, colleagues, and the wider community. You will play a key role in fostering children's development through intentional teaching, thoughtful planning, and meaningful relationships.

What you will be doing

As a Sessional Kindergarten Teacher, you will:

* Develop and deliver high-quality kindergarten programs aligned with the EYLF, VEYLDF, and National Quality Standards
* Provide intentional teaching that extends children's interests, strengths, and emerging skills
* Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families
* Create inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environments
* Lead ongoing planning, documentation, and reflective practice
* Work collaboratively with the kindergarten team and leadership to uphold service philosophy and quality practices

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

* Be eligible to work in Australia
* Hold an Approved Early Childhood Teaching Qualification recognised by ACECQA
* Have a current VIT Registration (Early Childhood Teacher)
* Hold current First Aid and CPR certifications
* Have a current Working with Children Check (if applicable)
