Opportunity
We are looking for a full-time experienced Solid Plasterer with 3 + years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Proficiency with using White set and sponge finish.
* Apply base and finishing coats of plaster, cement, and render to walls, ceilings, and exterior surfaces.
* Install plasterboard, ensuring accurate cutting, positioning, and fixing, along with appropriate insulation and vapour barriers.
* Inspect finished work for defects such as drumming, ensuring a smooth, solid bond with no hollow sounds.
* Fill joins, nail holes, and imperfections with plaster, then smooth with wet brushes and sandpaper for a seamless finish.
* Proficient and safe use of all tools and equipment associated with plastering, including trowels and power tools.
* Create decorative textures and finishes on plaster surfaces according to design specifications.
* Support the team with site preparation, cleanup, and general tasks to keep the rendering process running smoothly.
* Safely and efficiently use all plastering tools and equipment, while maintaining site cleanliness and safety.
We Are Looking for Someone Who Has
* Minimum 3 years' experience in Solid Plastering
* Ability to work independently and make decisions on the spot
* Physically capable of performing the required tasks
* A construction white card
* Valid Driver's Licence with flexibility to travel between job sites
* Commitment to health, safety, environment and quality standards
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
