Job Description
Due to strategic growth, AECOM is seeking an Associate‑Director level Landscape Architect to join our Brisbane office. This senior, client‑facing role combines design leadership, project delivery, and business development. You will lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects and shape the vision of landscape architecture within AECOM. You will mentor and support the growth of our talented team while engaging directly with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative and sustainable design outcomes.
How you'll make a difference
* Provide design leadership on project visioning, ensuring design excellence and quality across all phases of complex projects.
* Lead multi‑disciplinary project teams, coordinating and mentoring landscape architects and other design professionals across a variety of projects.
* Actively engage with clients and external stakeholders, building strong relationships and representing AECOM on high‑profile projects and tenders.
* Participate in and lead work‑winning activities, including bidding pursuits for complex projects and attending industry networking events.
* Support overall project delivery from concept to completion, overseeing budgets, schedules, and quality control.
Qualifications

* Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture (or a related field) with more than 15 years of experience in Landscape Architecture.
* Demonstrated design leadership and experience delivering innovative, high‑quality landscape architecture projects across a variety of market sectors.
* Proven experience in client engagement and stakeholder management on complex projects, demonstrating strong project management skills, budget management, and overall exceptional project delivery.
* Experience in mentoring and developing staff, with exposure to people management and team leadership (desirable).
* Technical proficiency with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator); experience with 3D modelling tools such as SketchUp and Lumion is a plus, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office; Revit experience is desirable.
