Clinical Psychologist Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team on a fixed-term basis. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide psychological support to adolescent and young adult patients diagnosed with cancer, as well as their family members or carers.
Job Description:
* Provide an excellent standard of care by way of evidence-based assessment and intervention of psychological problems for young people with cancer and their families.
* As a member of a multidisciplinary team, provide psychological assessments of all allocated patients and plan for appropriate action.
* Communicate effectively with all key stakeholders and document assessments, interventions, case plans, and other significant information in the medical record.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Psihoergy authorisation to practice by a recognised regulatory body.
* Completed or near completion of post-graduate clinical psychology program at a recognised University.
* Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based psychology practice for the range of psychological disorders and problematic issues commonly occurring in adolescents and young adults in cancer.
* Experience in cognitive-behavioural therapy and other evidence-based interventions in individual and group settings.
