The purpose of the Marketing Assistant is to provide marketing support to the business. This includes assisting the external marketing consultant, Managing Director, and nominated Directors in promoting and producing all inward- and outward-facing marketing collateral and activities.Key ResponsibilitiesAttend weekly marketing coordination meetings with the external marketing consultant and Managing Director.Maintain and update as required all branded company marketing collateral including submission templates, project sheets, CVs, presentation slide decks, capability documents and other promotional materials.Arrange photos of completed projects and new/existing employees for use in promotional collateral as needed.Manage all social media content (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) with the assistance and direction of the marketing consultant. Seek approval from the Managing Director prior to posting.Under direction arrange, coordinate and manage corporate marketing events such as boardroom lunches, client functions, career fairs and openings.Coordinate, manage and deliver client gifts, packages and end-of-year marketing packs to nominated clients.Provide administrative support to Directors in formulating and updating client management plans.Assist and where required work with the administration team to prepare presentations and capability documents for division heads.The role requires a minimum equivalent of 5 full-time days per week with daily attendance at the office.Mandatory CriteriaDemonstrated experience in generating, formatting and producing marketing collateral documents and submissions using platforms such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite.Demonstrated ability to update and manage web-based marketing platforms and social media platforms including Canva, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.Attend and work within the office on a full-time basis for the entire working week.Be flexible to work outside standard working hours when required to meet deadlines.Ability to work under limited supervision and direction to deliver the outputs required for this role.Qualifications & ExperiencePrevious experience in a similar role.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and working knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Lightroom).Undertaking or completion of a certificate, diploma or degree qualification with a marketing, communications or business specialty.About Rare InnovationRare Innovation is a multi-disciplinary engineering and project management consultancy with a strong track record in delivering successful projects across various sectors.
