Since its establishment in 2016, the company has experienced significant growth.Overview of the jobWe are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our busy office.Reporting of the roleThis role reports to the Director / Lawyer.Responsibilities of the role (including, not limited to)Provide general administrative support to Directors / Lawyers, Client Directors and other administrative staff where required.Assist with preparing legal documents, including Wills, Estate Planning documents, Trusts, and Contracts.Organise and maintain case files, ensuring deadlines are met and assisting with calendar management for Directors / Lawyers.Produce presentations, briefs, memos and other necessary documentation as required by the Directors and Client Directors.Develop and manage efficient documentation and filing systems in both hard copy and digital formats.Communicate and correspond with third parties regarding client matters.Answer telephone and e-mails in a professional and polite manner on behalf of Directors and team, if required, redirecting queries or taking messages where necessary.Provide support to visiting clients, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.Assist in the writing and maintenance of the Company Policies and Procedures.What you will needDiploma in a legal-related field or at least three years of relevant work experience.Accuracy and high level of attention to detail.The ability to juggle numerous tasks with ease whilst working in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal and relationship skills.Ability to work autonomously as a committed member of the professional services team.Exceptional presentation and organisational skills and a professional attitude.Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office, NetDocuments and Xero.Exceptional communication skills.Please note only the shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
