The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water has a unique opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead a master planning program in the Central Coast region.
This key role will be responsible for project delivery of a Master Plan, including procurement actions to engage and manage contractors, route design, environmental feasibilities, consultation with major partners and local councils, and stakeholder management throughout the process.
As a successful candidate, you will have a passion for community and environmental projects, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in project management.
You will be adept in providing high-level specialist advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and to support project development and delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy, and environmental objectives.
The ideal candidate will have appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience, project management skills, and experience with an understanding of contemporary best practice in procurement, tendering, and contract preparation.

* Lead the project team and provide guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
* Manage project teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve project milestones and outcomes.
* Develop, implement, and review strategic plans, policies, and programs.
* Provide strategic and operational advice and recommendations to senior management.
