About the Opportunity
As we scale our retail media proposition with new retail partners, we are seeking a
Head of Retail Media
to lead and oversee the end-to-end retail media business. This role carries accountability across
Sales, Ad Operations, Planning, Product, Technology and Data
, with a clear mandate to build a scalable, high-margin retail media engine that delivers for retailers, brands, and agencies.
You will operate as the commercial and operational leader of the business –
hands on in sales and revenue delivery
, while also setting direction and driving alignment across Ad Operations, Product, Tech and Data to ensure the business is enabled to perform at scale.
This is a build-and-grow role for a leader
who can move seamlessly between strategy and execution.
* Own the Retail Media Business:
End-to-end accountability for the performance and growth of the retail media business across Sales, Ad Operations, Planning, Product, Technology and Data.
* Lead Revenue & Sales Execution:
Hands-on leadership of the sales function, driving revenue delivery, pipeline performance and senior supplier relationships while building and leading a high-performing commercial team.
* Oversee Ad Operations & Delivery:
Lead Ad Operations to ensure efficient, accurate and scalable campaign delivery, driving operational excellence, margin improvement and clear ways of working with Sales and Planning.
* Shape the Product & Planning Proposition:
Own the evolution of the retail media proposition, ensuring products, inventory and planning solutions are aligned to commercial demand and customer outcomes.
* Enable Sales through Tech & Data:
Set direction for Technology and Data to enable sales performance, measurement, optimisation and scalability -prioritising initiatives that unlock commercial outcomes.
* Build the Operating Model & Culture
: Design and embed the operating model, processes and governance required to scale, while building a high-performance, accountable and outcome-driven culture.
What you will bring:
* Retail Media or Media Leadership Experience:
Experience leading a media or retail media team or function in a growth environment, with accountability for teams delivering and enabling multi-million-dollar sales targets.
* Strong Commercial Ownership:
A clear track record of owning revenue, leading sales teams, and delivering commercial outcomes.
* Operational & Scale Mindset:
Ability to build processes, improve efficiency, and scale teams while maintaining quality and margin.
* Sales-Led Tech & Data Thinking:
Experience using product, technology and data to enable sales performance and better outcomes.
* Hands-On, Credible Leadership:
A practical leader who can operate day-to-day, engage senior stakeholders, and lead high-performing teams.
