The Role
Reporting into the CFO, you’ll play a pivotal role in the finance leadership team, overseeing the financial health of the organisation while driving continuous improvement and strategic decision-making. Your role will include but not be limited to the following duties.
* Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
* Design and maintain robust financial controls aligned with best practices.
* Work closely with business leaders to support decision-making and long-term planning.
* Continuously improve finance processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
* Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
* Foster a culture grounded in integrity, collaboration, and innovation.
The Candidate
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a people-first leadership approach. If you thrive on creating clarity, empowering others, and turning insights into action, this is the role for you. Some of the criteria we will assess applicants on is as follows.
* CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent), with 10+ years’ experience in a senior finance leadership role.
* Deep expertise across financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, audit, tax, treasury, statutory accounts, and board reporting.
* Experienced leading a team producing statutory accounts
* Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a solutions-focused mindset.
* Exceptional communicator who explains the “why” behind the numbers and aligns teams around shared goals.
* Confident navigating a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
* A genuine leader—humble, supportive, and passionate about developing people.
