Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Master Technician to join our Service Department. This is a key senior technical role, ideal for someone who thrives on complex diagnostics, takes pride in mentoring others, and wants to work in a supportive, well-resourced dealership.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Master Technician, you will play a critical role in our workshop, with responsibilities including:
* Advanced diagnosis and troubleshooting of complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
* Carrying out high-level repairs across engines, transmissions, driveline, suspension, and braking systems
* Interpreting technical data, fault codes, and manufacturer repair procedures
* Supporting and mentoring apprentices and technicians, sharing knowledge and best practice
* Completing repairs to Toyota standards with a strong focus on quality and efficiency
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Applicants will need to demonstrate the following:
* Certificate 3 in light vehicle mechanical
* Proven diagnostic expertise – this is mandatory
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability across modern vehicle systems
* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Previous Toyota dealership experience highly regarded
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
