Senior Occupational Therapist (Brain Injury Services)
About the Role
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on the needs of participants with acquired brain injury, this position is responsible for the provision and management of specialized, high-quality Occupational Therapy services delivered within Brain Injury SA.
Duties:
* Managing and evaluating best practice to ensure high-level clinical standards are maintained in supervision of staff and students.
* Implementing innovative clinical practices to improve service delivery and outcomes.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Assisting the Team Leader in managing human and physical resources required to meet service demand.
* Developing and documenting systems to support quality and clinical standards.
* Providing advice and consultancy to service funders, management, and professional networks.
* Providing clinical and professional leadership to Occupational Therapists.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy.
2. Professional Registration with AHPRA.
3. Home modifications/equipment prescription experience.
4. Specialized assessment and report writing experience.
5. Minimum 2 years' experience specializing in neurology/brain injury or minimum 4 years' experience in broad Occupational Therapy practice.
