They provide technical and HSEQS (Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality & Sustainability) support to Supervisors and assist with administrative tasks, logistics, and procurement as needed.
* Manage full project engineering responsibilities, including safety documentation, procurement, budgeting, client liaison, and contract administration.
* Oversee contract activities to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Ensure all permits, approvals, and work plans are in place for daily operations.
* Support the Electrical Lead Engineer in delivering project milestones on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Prepare technical documentation such as work procedures, ITPs, SWMS, and site access plans.
* Assist with site inductions for personnel and equipment.
* Track material traceability, costs, productivity, and maintain accurate records.
* Contribute to planning, audits, quality management, and coordination with the project delivery team.
**Required Skills and Competencies*** Strong understanding of project engineering principles, including budgeting, procurement, QA, and contract administration.
* In-depth knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality standards, with the ability to ensure compliance on-site.
* Proficiency in preparing technical documentation such as SWMS, ITPs, and construction procedures.
* Effective planning and coordination skills to support project execution and timely handover.
* Experience with permit management and ensuring work aligns with approvals and specifications.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills for liaising with clients, supervisors, and project teams.
* Ability to track costs, manage productivity metrics, and maintain accurate records.
* Familiarity with quality management systems, internal audits, and continuous improvement practices.
