Our client based in Mount Barker is a well established glazing business with employees exceeding 20+ years service.
Due to increased business, they have a position for an apprentice glazier who has a genuine desire to work in the glass industry.
You will work and learn from with a team of experienced glaziers in all aspects of glass and glazing both in the factory and on site.
As an Apprentice Glazier you will be trained in the measuring, cutting and installing a wide range of glass products within the factory and on site for both domestic and commercial instillations.
As part of your role, you will learn to,
- Make measurements and calculations
- Install windows, doors, partitioning, fencing and balustrades.
- Select, cut and process materials for glazing products
- Assemble glazing products
- Work safely at heights
To be considered for this chance the following is required:
- A willingness to develop glazing skills and knowledge
- Be punctual and have a good work ethic
- White Card (or be willing to obtain prior to starting)
- Enjoy practical and manual work
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively in a team
- A car and licence is desirable
- Satisfactorily pass a pre employment medical

**Salary**: From $20.43 per hour
