Senior Analytics Engineer | Melbourne / Sydney - Hybrid About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer for a 12-month FTC covering parental leave. This is a hands-on, high-impact role bridging Data Engineering and Analytics. You'll own critical data modelling initiatives, ensure pipeline stability. The role focuses on building clean, production-ready data models, reviewing code, and translating business requirements into actionable, scalable solutions. This is not a dashboarding or reporting role. Key Responsibilities: Lead data architecture and model strategy for complex system migrations Support pricing & packaging changes, updating commercial and product models Refine financial and product data models for accurate reporting Ensure pipeline stability and manage technical debt Mentor and provide code reviews for 2 Analytics Engineers Collaborate with BI and Infrastructure teams to deliver production-ready data This role is ~70% technical and ~30% people/stakeholder management. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Analytics Engineer / Analytics-focused Data Engineer Deep expertise in dbt and SQL for modelling and transformations Experience with data warehousing (preferably Amazon Redshift) Strong understanding of finance, revenue, or commercial data modelling Excellent communication skills to socialise solutions across distributed teams Interested?
