Job Opportunity: Landscaping Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Landscaping Assistant. As a key member of our landscaping crew, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of landscaping sites, including clearing and leveling ground.
Responsibilities:
* Clearing and levelling ground to prepare it for landscaping activities.
* Laying out jute matting for erosion control and soil stabilisation.
* Spreading and levelling soil across designated areas to prepare for planting or turfing.
* Loading, unloading and moving materials, tools and equipment as required.
* Operating basic hand tools and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
* Working collaboratively with team members to complete tasks to project specifications.
* Following all site safety procedures and maintaining a clean and organised work area.
Requirements:
* A valid White Card
* A current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
* A RIW Card
* First Aid certification (including WET and SARC)
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on the Hope Island station upgrade project and contribute to delivering exceptional results.
