Groundsperson Role Overview
We're seeking a skilled Groundsperson to join our team at RAAF Richmond. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of our estates and gardens, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing complex grounds maintenance activities, including lawn care, garden maintenance, and risk management. They will also be expected to identify and manage risks associated with grounds maintenance, as well as deliver specific and complex performance targets.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Providing grounds maintenance services to ensure the upkeep of estates and gardens
* Maintaining and improving site grounds and gardens
* Managing risks associated with grounds maintenance
* Delivering high-quality results in line with Land Management service line requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience with grounds maintenance and knowledge of horticulture and irrigation systems
* Agricultural Chemical Distribution & Control (AC/DC) certification (desirable)
* Medium or Heavy Rigid Truck Licence and Chainsaw Operators Licence or Certificate (desirable)
* Current Open Driver's Licence
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory)
