The Role:
The contracts administrator is responsible for drafting, negotiating and administering contracts for our clients, consultants and subcontractors. They establish and administer contract terms and conditions, including service levels and fees. The contracts administrator also provides estimates and control costs for projects, drawing up BOQ's and monitoring costs at each stage of the project.
Responsibilities:
· Draft and administer contracts with our clients (including private property developers and government clients) from initiation to closure.
· Develop and manage contracts with our subcontractors and supply chain from initiation to closure.
· Monitor contract performance and address / escalate any issues as they arise.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
· Act as key conduit for contract-related queries and issues from clients / internal stakeholders
· Utilise QS skills to assist in cost estimation, budgeting and pricing strategies for projects.
· Analyse project specifications and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates.
· Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving and/or value-adding opportunities.
About you:
· Proven expertise as a Quantity Surveyor and/or Contracts Administrator, with a strong track record in managing detailed project budgets and contract administration.
· Familiarity with standard GC21, MW21 contracts.
· Dedication to accuracy and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision in all aspects of work.
· Highly organized, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
· Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with proven ability to manage relationships at all levels
