We are on the lookout for a passionate Events and Sponsorship Engagement Specialist to join our team. Your role will be crucial in connecting the renewable energy industry and accelerating the energy transition to a greener, cleaner future.

We provide resourcing services across the entire project lifecycle from the development phase through to the operations and maintenance phase. Our team operates out of offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Wellington, Auckland, Texas and London.
**Job Overview**:
This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a background in hospitality, events, community engagement, and/or sales to play a key role in realising and hosting events that foster networking among industry professionals and deliver bespoke experiences for our clients and community.
**Responsibilities**:
**Event Realisation, Planning and Execution**:
- Reach out to clean energy sector companies including existing clients for sponsorships to realise events.
- Plan, organise, and execute events throughout Australia, catering to relevant event themes and delivering tailor-made experiences for clients.
- Ensure seamless coordination of logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and any other event-related details.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure events align with PRG's business development objectives.
- Implement effective budget management, reporting on sponsorship income, expenditures, and providing detailed reports to management.
**Sales and Client Engagement**:
- Leverage sales expertise to identify and capitalise on opportunities for event sponsorship and partnerships.
- Engage with clients to understand their event requirements and customise offerings to meet their unique needs.
- Contribute to the growth of PRG by promoting our brand and services through events.
**Hybrid Role**:
- This is a hybrid role, requiring a presence in PRG's office for three days a week.
- Actively engage with team members both in-person and virtually to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Work closely with the Marketing Department to align event strategies with overall marketing objectives.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Proven experience in hospitality, events, community engagement and/or sales.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic about contributing to the energy transition and promoting sustainable practices.
- Familiarity with Canva, social media platforms, and some experience with Eventbrite will be preferred.
