Clinical Nurse Specialist - Anaesthetics/PACU PPT 60hrs FTN

About the role:
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialistwith experience in Ophthalmology Anaesthetics/ PACU to join our clinical team on a full time basis. Monday to Friday - no weekends, no public holidays, no overnights, no on‑call.
Start date and hours negotiable for right applicant.
Duties and responsibilities:
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi‑disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Lead the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence‑based patient care
- Manage team rosters, workloads and delegation of tasks
- Supporting the GM/ DON and NUM in quality activities and procurement
- Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
- Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
- Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
- Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
About You:
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world‑class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
- Solid experience in Anaesthetics/ PACU in an Ophthalmology theatre / perioperative setting
- Current AHPRA registration
- Advanced clinical and technical skills including problem solving skills
- A background in private day hospitals preferred
