Sports Leadership Position
Job Summary:
* Oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of all sports programs at the school.
* Manage a team of coaches and volunteers to ensure the smooth running of sports teams and events.
* Develop and implement strategies to promote student participation and engagement in sports.
* Liaise with external sporting organisations and associations to organise competitions and carnivals.
* Foster a positive and inclusive sports culture that aligns with the school's values.
* Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to sports staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in sports management or a related field.
* Experience in sports administration and program coordination.
* Proven track record of successfully leading and managing sports teams and programs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff and external stakeholders.
* Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
* Commitment to promoting student participation, wellbeing and personal development through sports.
* Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required for this position.
