Senversa has a new opportunity for Environmental/Civil Engineers to join our Brisbane team. If you have experience leading and delivering civil-environmental projects, we are keen to hear from you! Projects will involve your contribution in the design and construction supervision of earthworks and engineered containment facilities for contaminated soil and solid waste, along with civil works for waste management and recycling facilities.

So, what will you do?
This role will see your effective contribution to:
* A broad range of civil-environmental projects for government and private sector clients, working as part of a supportive team from concept design to construction.
* The success of the wider team by applying your strengths in delivering multi-disciplinary projects.

* Assist in preparing detailed designs for containment facilities, including civil components like earthworks, geosynthetic lining systems, and drainage.
* Manage field staff conducting third-party quality inspections during construction.
* Maintain regular liaison with clients, contractors, and sub-contractors; prepare factual and interpretive reports.
* Utilize digital skills to support project delivery.
* Collaborate with other technical practices such as geospatial, risk assessment, hydrogeology, environmental auditing, waste management, contaminated land, landfill gas, and field technical practices to develop integrated solutions.
* Show initiative in learning and developing within a multi-disciplinary environment.
What you will bring to the team
* Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
* Understanding of earthwork design and construction.
* Knowledge of design and construction using geosynthetic materials.
* Ability to apply a risk-based approach to problem solving.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Lateral thinking, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills.
* Passion for civil/environmental engineering, especially in waste and contaminated land sectors.
* Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
* Familiarity with AutoCAD and 3D modelling software.
* Experience in ground engineering is desirable.
* Interest in developing expertise in ground engineering disciplines like geosynthetics and water management.
* CPEng / NER / RPEV status (or close to attaining) preferred.
* Valid Australian Driver's License.
* Willingness to attend sites to support projects.
