Position Summary
At Brasserie1930, we are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sommelier to enhance our guests' dining experience. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert advice on wine selections and food pairings, ensuring that each guest's experience is elevated through your guidance.
You will be responsible for curating and managing a comprehensive wine and beverage list, sourcing products that align with our brand's values and budgetary considerations. Additionally, you will provide both internal and external training to colleagues, fostering a high standard of wine service and product knowledge across the team.

The Role
* Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless operation and efficiency.
* Proposing improvements and maintaining stock to uphold service standards.
* Overseeing the service of wines, mineral waters, and brandy beverages in line with guest expectations.
* Managing inventory, ensuring proper storage and preventing wastage, while conducting monthly stocktakes with the F&B Managers.
* Handling guest feedback and resolving service issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
Talent Profile
* Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, specialising in beverage service/restaurant management is of advantage.
* Advanced Sommelier certification (e.g., WSET Advanced, Court of Master Sommeliers) is preferred.
* Experiences in a similar role at luxury hotels/resort or renowned venues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism.
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
