THE COMPANY:
Our client is a global specialist engineering company that creates breakthrough solutions. They design, build and service highly engineered products in fluid and motion control applications. They focus on five market sectors: Industrial Automation, Process Automation, Climate Control, Life Science and Fluid Control, and Transport.
THE ROLE:
You will be responsible for handling the most important client accounts across Victoria and Tasmania. This critical sales role is responsible for developing, maintaining and expanding existing and new relationships by:
* Representing the entire range of company products and services;
* Minimum twice yearly travel to each key account (other domestic and international travel may be required);
* Ensuring that the customer' needs and expectations are met or exceeded;
* Collaborating with Business Development Managers to drive growth and market expansion;
* Maintain a clean CRM database;
* Prepare customer proposals and quotations in accordance with company policies.
ABOUT YOU:
* Proven success in key account management;
* Demonstrated experience in delivering client focused solutions;
* An experienced sales engineer with a background in industries specialising in BMS / PLC / Hydraulic / Pneumatic - highly desirable;
* Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is advantageous;
* Ability to enhance revenue, margins, and operating profit to meet goals.
