About Us – Have a Heart for Change
At the Heart Foundation, we believe everyone deserves a healthy heart. Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in Australia and since 1959 we've led the fight through research, support, and prevention. Be part of our mission to make heart health achievable by everyone in Australia by 2050.
How You Can Make a Difference
As a key member of the Public & Local Affairs Team, you will play a vital role in strengthening community engagement across Tasmania to advance heart health. Partnering closely with the General Manager, you'll build strong local relationships, lead impactful events and engagement initiatives, and ensure the voices of Tasmania's priority populations shape our work. Your ability to connect with communities will directly support improved heart health outcomes and help drive our vision of making heart health achievable for everyone by 2050.

* Ensure accurate reporting across fundraising, events, and engagement activities, maintaining records and contributing to evaluation processes.
* Collaborate with internal teams to share insights, support planning, and ensure community feedback informs organisational priorities.
Provide administrative support to maintain smooth office operations and a consistent local presence.
You Will Bring

* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to connect effectively with diverse audiences.
* A solutions‑focused mindset, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
