Bloom is looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead our FOH Team.
Our restaurant operates for breakfast and lunch 5-days per week (Thursday - Monday) with a focus on high quality products and great customer experience. Our kitchen serves locally-sourced, seasonal produce with a focus on wood-fired cooking alongside a selection of in-house pastries and breads. We offer specialty coffee, a curated cocktail menu and alcoholic beverages predominantly sourced from the regions of SA.
We are looking for someone to embrace our vision and provide hands-on leadership to our FOH team in delivering exceptional hospitality. You will also work closely with our broader management team to achieve team-oriented goals.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
* Oversee all front of house operations
* Staff management including rostering, performance management and training
* Respond to email enquiries, concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
* Ordering, waste management and stock control
* Effectively manage and optimise booking system
* Maintain and advocate for quality and consistency through systems and leadership
* Work with broader management team to achieve team oriented KPI's
Must haves:
* Experience in leading in a restaurant environment including table service, managing stock levels and general operations
* Ability to provide exceptional hospitality including refined customer service skills
* Ability to lead by example and create a motivating and supportive team environment
* High level of attention to detail and organisation
* Sound technology skills including working with POS, booking and payment systems
* Genuine passion for food and beverage industry with ability to understand current trends
