About the Role
We are growing our electrical team, and as a result, several new Control Systems Engineer opportunities have opened up.
Control Systems Engineer you will report to the Group Electrical Manager. Working as part of a high performing team, you will be responsible for:
* Advising and assisting the sales and project team relating to matters of overall systems design, costing estimates, and electrical operation and maintenance manuals.
* Design and/or supervise design of electrical or electrical control systems for Heat and Control Food Processing, Packaging, and Weighing equipment and prepare circuit drawings for the purpose of manufacture and/or subcontract.
* Design PLC, HMI and SCADA control systems.
* Seek and select successful tenders for electrical sub-contract project work.
* Where required, supervise electrical installations and successfully commission systems, train operators and plant engineers on Heat and Control equipment at customer premises domestically and internationally.
* Work to maintain expenditure within estimates at all times.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience in process control and system design.
* Project implementation and "on‐site" commissioning experience.
* Siemens (S7, WinCC Flexible & TIA) or Allen‐Bradley, Rockwell, Wonderware experience essential.
* Well‐developed problem‐solving skills and attention to detail.
* Project leadership skills / confidence.
* High level of enthusiasm and willingness to be "hands‐on".
