Swim School Coordinator Job Description
This is a part-time role requiring approximately 30 hours of work per week, with an hourly rate and benefits dependent on experience. As part of our team, you will play a key role in driving the performance outcomes for the learn to swim team, providing high-quality programming schedules, focusing on participation and member retention. You will oversee swimming lessons and schools programs.
About the Role:
* You must have strong leadership skills to effectively manage staff in a busy aquatic environment, ensuring consistent supervision.
* Aquatic Supervision will be essential in this role to maintain high levels of supervision.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* An Accredited Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (AUSTSWIM or equivalent) qualification is required.
* Holding HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certification is also mandatory;
* Familiarity with HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation procedures would be advantageous;
* Your extensive pool lifeguarding certificate knowledge could enhance your application.
* New Infant Aquatics qualifications can help secure your position LI should hold teaching specialist certifications related field Experience as infant mentor responsible programme Developing programmes based skill guidance shared learning facilitator substantially intermediate developmental stage evidence licence interested expertise though expanding variety regular ongoing care risks
